It is too early still to light a candle, but everything is ablaze already in the new "Wilsberg" Christmas case: the flame of love is kindled in Ekki at a Christmas party when he meets the woman of his dreams in the men's room, of all places; police detective Springer has to be vigilant, lest she burn the roast duck in Wilsberg's apartment; and Wilsberg himself knocks over Santa Claus in his car – which in turn leads to a case of robbed jewels, kidnapping, and a lack of orange marmalade. Hence, there is quite a bit to do in Christmassy Münster, and the very good-humored ensemble helmed by director Hans-Günther Bücking delivers another performance full of vim and vigor.
