When Flight 627 touches down, the passengers are already dead. Olivia Dunham finds only bloody skeletons on the seats. The FBI agent is part of a unit that deals with "fringe science," paranormal phenomena that cannot be explained by ordinary research and investigation. The search for explanations leads her to brilliant scientist Dr. Walter Bishop. There is just one problem: he has been locked up in a psychiatric ward for 20 years. Only with his son's help can the agent get to him. The three of them then find out that the fate of Flight 627 is only a small portion of a much more shocking larger problem. "Lost" inventor J.J. Abrams and "Transformers" authors Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have joined forces to take the mystery genre to new chilling heights in this TV series.
"Fringe" will be broadcast on ProSieben in 2009.
