Documentary on Christa "Nico" Päffgen's career in pop music and drugs. The life of Nico is a perfect mirror of the times and places she lived in, from Berlin and Paris to New York, where Andy Warhole made her part of the life of his "Factory". In the early eighties, the "Velvet Underground" singer becomes an icon, representing gloominess and longing for death. In 1988 she dies on Ibiza. Nico Icon is a professional approach to a subject of worship, a compilation of encounters, film extract and music.
