This is what the hospital series of the future looks like. "Fight for Life" does not only show how doctors struggle for their patients' lives, but also how illnesses develop and how the body combats them - from the inside. Using endoscopic cameras, the latest X-ray equipment and CGI, the British docu-series draws on actual cases to visualize the mortal battle inside the organs organs and the bloodstreem. Grave diseases become protagonists whose trails medical teams and patients are investigating. The screening is followed by a workshop talk with Philip Dobree, chief executive of Jellyfish Pictures, the company that has created the serie' visual effects, computer animation and motion graphics sequences.
