Boris Berezovsky has amassed a fortune of billions during the self-service years of the Yeltsin era. He became a minister and rose to be the gray eminence in the state of Russia. When the president’s health waned, he made a fatally wrong decision: he supported Putin, who declared him the number one enemy of the state as soon as he assumed power. Now living in England, Berezovsky pulls strings to topple his former protégé. The BBC series "Russian Godfathers" provides finely ironic portraits of Russian oligarchs who do everything in their power to reclaim lost influence in their home country.
