Due to his Lebanese ancestry, Dutch policeman Haron is chosen to infiltrate an Islamic terrorist group, which might also be responsible for a suicide attack in which his mother was killed. In the course of his investigations, Haron becomes more deeply entangled in the schemes and actions of the group than he could sensibly wish for. Eventually, he is completely on his own – a small cog in a larger intrigue. Captivating and realistic made-for-television movie which provides a convincing update on the themes and aesthetics of politically charged thrillers such as "Three Days of the Condor" or "The Parallax View".
