Im Nordwind

50-year-old Erwin loses his middle management job in a renowned Swiss company. He is too ashamed to admit it to his family, and leaves their apartment with his suit on every morning like he used to. His wife Kathrin’s every hope for a better future lies with the house they have begun to build. The more money she spends on it, the more nervous Erwin gets, leaving little regard for their daughter Lisa, who is caught in her own struggle for her first love when she finds out about her father’s lie by coincidence. It is not long until the fragile structure of this family collapses. After a number of shorts, this is Bettina Oberli’s first full-length feature film.
