Norway as Co-production Partner for germany

Roundtable
Tuesday, July 5th, 12:00 – 13:00 hrs,
in cooperation with Emmy Norway 2007

Norway may not be the natural first choice as a co-production partner for German film- and TV producers, but the small and affluent country stretching from The North Sea towards the North Pole may have more to offer as a creative and financial partner for Germans than initially meets the eye. Norwegian producers and television companies have an inherent need to produce quality film and television for a small audience, and have as a consequence a drive to cooperate with the international community and have successfully done so for years. The panel of TV executives, major film/TV-producers and film board representatives will present what opportunities may exist for co-productions in terms of potential projects, government financing and production expertise.
