Noses, breasts, bottoms and loads of loot – oh, to be a plastic surgeon! So you might think before you’ve seen "Nip/Tuck", a deep-black medical nightmare set against the candy-colored backdrop of Miami Beach. In the pilot episode things get off to sinister start as the surgeons’ private practice gets on the wrong side of a Colombian drug cartel with horrendous consequences for the demigods in white. A roller coaster ride of sex, drugs and violence that would send Dr. Kildare & Co. heading straight for the hills.
