Jargo will soon be sixteen and plans to finally become a man. But it isn’t all that easy: He was born in Saudi Arabia, and now he has to get his bearings in a Berlin suburb. When Jargo meets the Turkish small-time criminal Kamil, he blossoms in the macho male camaraderie and plans to pull off a big-time ‘job’. Jargo is in danger of getting lost along the way to manhood when he gets involved with Kamil’s girlfriend Mona. "Jargo" is the feature-length directorial debut of Maria Solrun Sigurdadottir, a graduate of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin’s Screenwriting Academy.
