Jean-Louis is newly divorced and on his way to the south of France with his friend Frédéric, ostensibly for a nice weekend. In fact, he hopes to win back his ex-wife Céline who lives there with the children. When Céline’s new boyfriend turns up, the atmosphere thickens and an argument erupts. Vincent Pluss, whose dance videos have attracted attention, unleashes his hand-held camera on the ensemble to create an improvised actor’s film full of live and surprises. “On dirait le sud”, his first feature-length film, was awarded the Swiss Film Prize 2003.
