A woman lies dead in the bathtub, death by electric shock. Her boyfriend, construction worker Hosemann, is suspected, arrested, and sentenced because of evidence. Only once Hosemann commits suicide out of despair Eva Blond and her team arrive on the scene; they find the trail of the true murderer, and in doing so, bring a hornet’s nest down about their ears. Corinna Harfouch, recognized with the Deutsche Fernsehpreis for her work in "Vera Brühne”, shines in "Eva Blond” in an unusual role: a stubborn commissioner who gets to the heart of mysterious murder cases by unconventional means. With her Turkish colleague Alyans (Erdal Yildiz), who is equally conscious of tradition as well as attractive, she forms a team that makes criminals and her superiors alike despair.
