This is the second film of Jesper Jargil’s trilogy on Lars von Trier. Jargil filmed it during the shooting of "The Idiots". "The Humiliated" gets as close to the creative process as conceivable. Thanks to access to Lars von Trier’s very personal diary, recorded on tape as "The Idiots" was being made, the film about the film reveals hitherto undiscovered facets of one of Europe’s great filmmakers. Lars von Trier and Jesper Jargil have received many awards for their films.
