A man and a woman stand in the desert and try to get closer to one another. But the desire and the need to be together on the part of one of them do not automatically conform to the wishes of the other one. Swedish director Karin Westerlund, who lives in Egypt, has just presented her short film in the showcase “Un Certain Regard” in Cannes.
