"Cracker" is dead - long live "Cracker": Granada Television's top-rated drama changed its incarnation from series to one-off special. Robbie Coltrane, who has made "Cracker" his own, returns as the gambling, drinking psychologist Fitz in a single two-hour film, set in the heat of Hong Kong. While there, lecturing to university students, Fitz is called on by the Royal Hong Kong Police to look into the bizarre murder of a wealthy businessmann. It is not long before a second murder comes to light, and Fitz becomes convinces that a western expatriate is behind the brutal slayings. Co starring Ricky Tomlinson ("Riff Raff", "Raining Stones") as DCI Wise, flown in from England to held Fitz, and Freda Foh Shen ("Basic Instincts", "Nash Bridges") as Hong Kong detective Janet Lee Cheung.
