Mushroom enthusiast and celebrated chef Antonio Carluccio's cuisine is at the forefront of the new wave of Italian cookery in Britain and the US. In his first solo television series, Carluccio goes on a savoury and realxing gastronomic tour of Northern Italian cookery, wine and culture. The six regions he visits include Liguria, Piemonte, Umbria, Venetia, Emilia Romagna and Aosta Valley. Carluccio swaps recipes with chefs, housewives, old friends and even Dominican monks. And of course he cooks.
