La Sept/Arte initiated the "Court toujours" project that persuaded French star actresses to play in 30-minute short films of young filmmakers. Catherine Deneuve picks up a penniless pavement artist in Ismael Ferroukhi's "L'Inconnu" and spends a few days with him in her apartment. Novelist Vincent Ravalec directed "Joséphine et les gitans" and has Miou-Miou playing the representative of a record company who ends up in a group of gitanos. Emmanuelle Béart ("Nelly et Monsieur Arnaud", "Mission impossible") stars in "Le dernier chaperon rouge", a psychotic, sugar-pop ballet, bursting with wit and visual invention. Director Jan Kounen,s hootuing star on the French film scene (who became known for his cult shortfilm "Vibroboy"), is supported by French Star choreographer Philippe Decouflé.
